Happy Monday to y'all! I Hope everyone had a good eclipse viewing, I was close enough to decide not to fight the traffic and still be able to see %97 blockage, not totality, but close enough to see it and take in the event for what it's worth, and it was worth a hefty amount.
The last total solar eclipse in the continental U.S. was in 1979.I have never had the opportunity to see one yet, so I obviously jumped on the opportunity. Every now and then you get to witness something "Truly Majestic" as Morgan Freeman put on his bucket list. Today we was able to put that check mark in the box, though.
Last tour we was able to see Mount Rushmore while in route to some incredible shows. It is not all pretty on the road, and it is not always all pretty while we are home, that is part of life. I do make it a point, any chance I get, to sit back and savor the moment, however. Today's Eclipse was no exception, and it was definitely was majestic!
If you are fortunate enough to have been able to see the eclipse, like myself, then I'm sure you are as taken back and awed as I am, and if you weren't able to be in the viewing area, be thankful for the internet. It can be useful sometimes, but like anything else, it depends on how you use it.
We have some major shows coming up in the late summer/fall, so make sure you check them out and come see us out on the road! We will be kicking off tour this weekend in Michigan, which is guaranteed to be a good time, but if you can't make that show then check the dates and stay up with our social media pages and let's put a little miracle grow on the the family tree. Cheers folks!
