Hello and happy Monday folks! I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend, whether you celebrate it or not. Even though we were not able to spend it with our family we still had a great weekend of shows with our Family on the road and had a great Easter Sunday hanging out with our good friends Larry and Karen.
Today I want to just take a little time to extend some appreciation towards people who travel with their job and do not get to spend every holiday or birthday/anniversary etc with their loved ones. To many people this certainly includes bands and the sacrifices we make to bring our music to people on a daily basis, but it definitely runs deeper than music. We have to be appreciative to anyone who travels with their job and is sacrificing family time for the good of others. This definitely includes the spectacular men and women of our military who stay gone for very long periods of time to ensure that we get to enjoy our American Rights and Freedoms. Also to the many other jobs that require frequent traveling, such as traveling nurses, salesmen, truck drivers and so forth.
Many of these people may sort of take a back seat sometimes but we have to ensure that their job and sacrifices are appreciated just as well as some of the others listed above. They all play an important role in completing the puzzle that makes our country go round. We all knew the sacrifices we were going to have to make when we began touring and set this as our career path, as did all these other career choices, but nonetheless we must be appreciative to all those who make a sacrifice so that others can have the commodities, or be able to purchase gas for our vehicles, to have healthcare and well trained doctors and nurses, to be able to speak freely, the list goes on and on.
Let's all try to be a little more thankful for the small things, and maybe this will go a long ways and translate into a bigger picture with better people and more love! See y'all out of the road soon, and big thanks to all of you for being part of our FAMILY. Cheers guys.
