Happy Monday y'all! I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day and got in some great quality time. I know many of you are not able to spend it with your Mother anymore so for those of us that are fortunate enough to have ours in our life we need to be grateful for that. I was not able to see my Mom yesterday(she is out of town visiting my brother and nephew)but I was able to give her a call at least so I'm definitely thankful for that.
As bad as life gets at times, when it seems like everything that could go wrong does go wrong, that's when we need to look around and be appreciative of what we have. When frustration sets in is when it's always easiest to dwell on the negative things, when in reality, what we need to do is be appreciative for the things we have and use that to help build and better our current situation. This is far easier said than done, I know that, but even making the conscious effort to do so will definitely make a difference in the opportunities created.
Being on the road as much as we are is one thing that helps keep us in check with this. Tough times are inevitable and expected. We also have many things to be thankful for, and it definitely out-weighs the tough times! We have the privilege of knowing countless incredible people because of music, and that is one of the many things that fuel us daily.
When the going gets tough, remember to take a second to appreciate the things and the people around you. Use that for fuel to propel you forward. It's never easy, but it is possible. That can be the main catalyst to helping you get around the hard times around you. As always, take care of yourselves and please come hang out with us soon. We have some fantastic shows coming up so let's rock em with style! See you all very soon!
