Hello and happy Monday to all. We are currently at home and on a short break in between tours, but we are excited to get back out and see your beautiful faces. Fingers crossed we do not have vehicle trouble this time!
With all the doom and gloom news going on today I figured I would write a little bit about positivity. Positivity is good, right? It's easy to find yourself down, sweating the small stuff, and we all do it sometimes. It's part of human nature. We also have to keep the presence of mind to look around and appreciate the blessings we have, no matter how big or small. As a band, we have always found a way to take a negative and turn it into a positive. It's not just a band thing, it's a mentality. If you keep your eyes looking forward, then the majority of the time you can find a way to utilize almost anything.
A prime example is this passed tour we showed up to the venue, only to find out our show had been cancelled. We had people coming to the show, however, so us and Seasons After had a parking lot party and jammed some acoustic songs and had a grand ole time. The people that came for the show didn't get the kind of show they were expecting, but we tried to make it worth their while and I believe they had a great time, I know I did! The next thing we know, Loudwire caught wind of it and did a story on it! It turned out to be far more than we expected and it all happened because we didn't hang our head, we stuck with it and made the best of the situation. Not every situation is this easy, I understand that, but the moral is the same and we have to keep that mentality with everything we do.
I hope positivity finds all of you in one way or another, and as a matter of fact, I am going to bag some up and have it at the merch table this upcoming tour. Feel free to come and get some when we cruise through your town, or maybe even bring me some more. Stay tuned here to the website for all of our dates and more being announced daily. See you all on the road soon, keep your head up folks and your eyes forward. Cheers!
